My name is Sally Brown. I am the proprietor of Sally Brown Studio & Gallery based in Marple Bridge, Stockport. I have run the gallery for the past 12 years specialising in original works. I also exhibit my own work at the gallery, where I focus mainly on watercolours, oils and pastels.

Born in 1942 in Derby, Derbyshire where I was trained and qualified in art and design before embarking on a career as a markup artist in the mid 60’s to the early 70’s.

Having taken time out to bring up my two children I decided to integrate my interest in art and business by opening an art gallery that would be unique to the surrounding area.

The gallery has been very successful during its opening and I strive to keep its displays interesting to capture the differing tastes of the browses.
