Opened in 1989 by Sally Brown a local established Artist the gallery has gained a reputation in the North as being one of the only Galleries to stock nothing but original works of art.

The traditional old stone 18^th Century building has three spacious rooms for displaying over 250 original works of art by over 70 artists from as far a field as New Zealand and as close as Marple Bridge itself. Here you can take a browse and appreciate the displays at your leisure. There really is something for everyone, from an art expert to someone who appreciates a good painting.

Sally provides a friendly, welcoming, informal atmosphere, where complementary fresh coffee is always available and there are toys and art material provided to keep children occupied and even a bowl of water for your dog.

There is a personal high quality framing service available at Sally Browns where paintings, photographs, tapestry or whatever is required can be professional framed at very competitive prices. Expert advice is always available to help you make the most suitable selection.

Sally also stocks hand made greeting cards that are just that little bit different for every occasion. National and Tate Gallery cards are also available.
